Florence does not have a huge gay and lesbian scene but there are plenty of gay and lesbian bars in the capital of Tuscany. For gay men there are many pick up spots, although some can be more dangerous than others. The Campo di Marte and the Parco della Cascine are the most popular however, police tend to be strict in these areas and the legal age to access the bars is 18, so it is a good idea for you to carry some sort of form of ID.
